Senior parkour and preschoolers met through playful movement in the forest

The children at Ågårdens preschool had an inspiring and joyful visit when the seniors from Lidköping's volunteer activities, together with their group Seniorparkour, came to show that movement is fun at all ages.

Despite the 60-year age difference, they jumped, balanced and crawled together through the forest's playful obstacle course. Together they rolled logs, balanced on narrow logs, and jumped from stump to stump - exploring how many people can actually fit on a single stump.

The day was filled with laughter, curiosity and a wonderful sense of community. It became clear how intergenerational play and movement can bring joy and strengthen the bonds between young and old.

This initiative is a great example of how to promote physical activity and community cohesion in the municipality - where all ages are included and participate on equal terms.
