How can a common rhetoric and vision of movement create real change across sectors? This is one of the questions Julia Hildorzon, project manager of Make a Move, discusses in a recent episode of the Movement Revolution podcast.
In the conversation, Julia highlights the importance of starting from the target groups' own perspectives and needs. Instead of creating movement conditions for children and young people, Make a Move is about creating them together with both the target groups themselves and the adults - such as educators, leaders and other so-called movement facilitators - who are around them.
Listeners will also hear inspiring examples from preschools, among others, where the project is already showing positive effects. Early success indicators show that Make a Move has made a difference - not only in individual activities, but as a hub in a larger collaboration model in the Västra Götaland region.
As the first round of the project comes to an end, a new step is about to be taken: the pilot municipalities are being prepared for a new role as mentors to other municipalities that are now ready to take over and start their journey.
