Health and social care

In health and social care settings, many people rely on the support of others to find motivation to move, to become physically active and to reduce their sedentary lifestyle. Maintaining or improving an individual's ability to move can improve quality of life and well-being. Physical activity can also provide a social context or being outdoors can have a positive impact on mood.
Our approach to promoting movement includes raising the awareness of coordinators and staff of meeting places within municipalities, so that they develop an approach to movement that inspires participants to experience movement as something enjoyable and positive. It is also about promoting collaboration between local associations and municipal meeting places and activities. By offering trial activities, you can create natural pathways into association life. A concrete example of this is to engage the municipality's volunteers during association days at preschools. In this way, meetings are created across generational boundaries, new social contexts are formed through movement and relationships with local associations are strengthened.
